Dad steers the carriage to get safely across the street. The women revel in the moment. Pure joy. Let the heavens open up, it's just rain. I still remember the feeling. Where was I standing during this downpour? Must have been under a store awning.
Or maybe I was using the mini-umbrella with the hinge that attached to the camera. A guy thing to make stuff when all you need to do is fine a good awning or carry an umbrella.
And that bracket attached to the camera attached to the mini umbrella idea was a bad one anyway since the camera was likely to fly out of your hands with a good wind.
And I can see all of that in this shot.
